Kind Leaders

Leadership & Everyday Independence

Leadership starts with small, kind responsibilities: making a choice, helping a friend and taking turns in a shared activity.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Little experiences.
Meaningful practice.

Making choices, taking turns and helping with shared tasks are opportunities to practise independence and relationships. Our early leadership focus means listening and being helpful, with adults supporting small responsibilities.

AT PLAY SCHOOL MASTERMIND

Our learning approach

Teacher-guided play makes room for practice, conversation and individual support. Examples for this learning area include:

  • Choose a song or help gather activity materials.
  • Take a classroom-helper turn and include another child.
  • Plan a simple shared task and listen to a friend’s suggestion.

Activities are adapted to each child’s stage and the current class plan.

A JOURNEY AT THEIR OWN PACE

How the focus grows.

A LITTLE IDEA FOR HOME

Keep the connection going.

Offer two suitable choices or a small shared task, such as putting books away together. Notice the helpful action rather than comparing children.

See the learning in person.

Choose two preferred free trial days, Sunday–Thursday. Contact our team to confirm availability.
